In this podcast episode, I finish reading and discussing the section Beyond Perception, (paragraphs 7-10) which stresses the importance of knowing our true miraculous selvs (through forgiving our brothers) as a way to ultimately commune with and know God.

Sparked by a listener's comment, I begin the episode by addressing the fear that can arise when delving into what the Course is really saying. I then continue with the reading and discussion of paragraph 6 of the section Beyond Perception, which includes the topic of prayer.

In this episode, I continue with the reading paragraphs 3-5 of the section Beyond Perception, which includes a discussion of the ingeniousness of our ego. 

In this episode, I begin reading and discussing paragraphs 1-2 in the section Beyond Percpeption, which contains some strong statements about how everything our ego makes is wasted effort. But we are assured that beyond our ego is our true creativity and real strength. 

This episode concludes the reading and discussion of paragraphs 6-7 of the section Error and the Ego, in which the Course puts a new twist on the old Biblical saying, "Many are called but few are chosen."

This episode begins with correcting something I said in the previous episode, which leads to addressing the idea that ACIM came into being in 1965 because of a "celestial speed-up." I then continue with the reading and discussion paragraphs 4-5 of the section Error and the Ego.

In this episode, I read and discuss paragraphs 1-3of the section Error and the Ego, where the idea of "consciousness" (a term rarely used in ACIM) is mentioned as the realm of separation.

This episode concludes the reading and discussion of the section Perception versus Knowledge (paragraphs 5-7). It is only through perceiving our brother correctly that we come to know God.

Continuing with the theme of the body from the previous episode (029), this episode is a deviation from reading the Course and is an audio excerpt from my book. The chapter is called Body, and contains the Course's view of the body, as well as my hypnotherapeutic (and other) points of view. (The previous chapter in the book is Bad Habits and is excerpted in episode 016.)

In the first half of this episode, I answer a listener's question about how to find balance between taking care of the body and knowing that the body is an illusion. The second half of this episode begins with the reading and discussion of paragraphs 1-2 of the section Miracles as True Perception .

I begin Chapter 3 by reading and discussing Jesus' correction of another Christian idea (Episode 025 was the correction of the Last Judgment). That idea being that God is punishing, therefore Atonement involves sacrifice, as with the traditional teaching of the Crucifixion.
