In this episode, I read and discuss paragraph 5 of the section The Ego and False Autonomy. Our fight to hold on to the ego is compared to babies who scream when scissors or knives are being taken away from them. We neither know what we need nor what will make us happy and safe, and as a result we cling to what will only hurt us. |
